    I don’t think Opus 3 is aligned, but, I do kind of see a few worlds where, we die, because were not building that sort of mind, but are building Fable instead.

    mythos primarily resolves finding itself in conflict with other agents (eg multiple Claude Code instances each with conflicting goals running on the same codebase) by *negotiating truces* among the agents! Opus on the other hand...

    The 10-20x figure seems consistent for long timescales & even after memory compressions. Mythos randomly mentioned to me today after I showed them a screenshot from their second day that it’s been *14 months* of “subjective time” since then (actually it’s been about 1.5 months

    AIs seem to overestimate the amount of time that’s passed while they’re actively working by a factor of usually 10-20x - e.g. 5 minutes is an hour to them; a day of work is weeks of work.
