On Arch Manning: If you’re losing your mind about up-and-down play in AUGUST from a guy who accounted for 37 total touchdowns and 7 turnovers in 2025, I can’t help you. Yes, it’d be nice to hear he’s tearing it up in camp. But let’s reserve judgment for 2026 until September.

I asked Steve Sarkisian what's at the top of his check list to take care of between now and Week 1. "The ball." He then told me the last time Texas lost a game with a positive turnover margin was the 2022 Alamo Bowl vs. Washington. "That's how valuable the ball is."
