We truly live in a crazy time right now in vc. 1/We are back to rounds at huge upticks every 3-6 months, and sometimes 2 tranches of a round within weeks at diff valuations 2/ For top companies, spv has become a 4 letter word 3/ people casually saying, upside is 500b-1t exit.

Ubiquiti + Claude is amazing. An intermittent WiFi issue was plaguing my network for a few weeks, and none of my limited attempts at diagnosing it were successful. I decided to give Claude access to Unifi through SSH and it diagnosed it and solved it within minutes.

Ubiquity is so ridiculously good. Just did a full apartment upgrade. Cloud router, three U7 Pros. Added a local admin account for an agent. Had Claude optimize all the radio channels, tune mesh settings, and ensure all devices roamed ideally. SCI-FI!

.@DecagonAI is the second Wayfinder II company to hit $100M run rate this year (the first being @WeAreLegora). Like @MaxJunestrand, @thejessezhang's trajectory as a founder has been insane. I first worked with him 8 years ago during YC and he has not stopped impressing since.

This is true, and is especially jarring if you used to be a founder and have fundraised before. Fundraising dynamics are completely different.

So many emerging managers tell me they underestimated how hard launching their own firm and fundraising would be. It’s supposed to be hard. Only really easy for like 1% of new managers. But barriers to starting a fund have never been lower. So the reckoning just comes later.
