At MicroPayWork, we strive to maintain a fair and transparent platform. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed and the steps you can take if you believe a refund is warranted.
CONDITIONS FOR A REFUND
Non-Delivery: If a freelancer fails to deliver the task according to the agreed terms and time frame, job posters may be eligible for a refund.
Non-Conformance: If the completed task does not match the job description or agreed-upon quality standards, job posters may request a reevaluation or a refund.
Duplicate Charges: In the event of accidental duplicate charges or system errors, the excess amount will be refunded.
Gig Service Disputes: If a gig seller fails to deliver the purchased service as described in the gig listing, or if the delivery is significantly different from what was advertised, the buyer may request a refund.
Cancelled Jobs: If a job is cancelled by the poster before any freelancer has submitted work, the full job budget will be returned to the poster's wallet.
PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING A REFUND
To initiate a refund, please contact our support team at [email protected] with the following information:
- Your account username or registered email address.
- The job ID or gig order ID related to the refund request.
- A detailed description of the issue.
- Any relevant screenshots, documentation, or proof to support your claim.
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from the task completion date or gig delivery date. Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for a refund.
PROCESSING REFUNDS
Once a refund request is received, our team will investigate and determine eligibility based on the guidelines set forth in this policy. We aim to review all refund requests within 5 to 7 business days.
Eligible refunds will be processed as follows:
- Wallet Refunds: In most cases, refunds will be credited back to your MicroPayWork wallet balance.
- Original Payment Method: For deposit-related refunds (such as duplicate charges), the refund will be processed back to the original payment method used for the transaction. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
You will receive an email notification once your refund has been processed.
LIMITATIONS
Refunds are not applicable in the following situations:
- Disputes related to minor errors or subjective interpretations of task quality.
- Tasks that were completed as described but did not meet the poster's expectations due to reasons outside the freelancer's control.
- Situations where the client failed to provide clear or complete instructions for the task.
- Jobs or gig services where the client has already approved and accepted the delivered work.
- Requests submitted after the 7-day refund request window has expired.
- Violations of MicroPayWork's Terms of Service by the requesting party.
MicroPayWork reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund requests. Our decision will be based on a thorough review of the evidence provided by both parties.
CHARGEBACKS
Users who initiate chargebacks through their bank or payment provider without first contacting MicroPayWork support may have their accounts suspended pending investigation. We encourage all users to resolve disputes directly through our platform before taking external action.
