The Latin Wikipedia (Latin: Vicipaedia or Vicipaedia Latina) is the Latin language edition of Wikipedia. Started

in May 2002, this edition has 141,150 articles as of 28 March 2026.[1] All articles use Latin but languages used today is used for talking.

As of April 2024, it is the 66th largest edition of Wikipedia by number of articles.[2]

Vicipaedia is the largest Wikipedia in a dead language (a language that is no longer anyone's mother tongue).
