Something is wrong with your parents.
You come home late. They are awake. They don't look at you the same way. They say the right words. But something behind their eyes is gone.
That night you hear something downstairs.
And what you see through the kitchen door will change everything.
You have 14 minutes. Find the truth before they come back.

Solid game I had fun playing it! I just wished for a bit more gameplay; the countdown is a bit long in my opinion, I still had a spare of 8 minutes for the main ending.
I see that there will be a chapter 2 coming soon, I'm excited for that! Wishing you all the best! ❤️
Thank you for inviting me to play! I chose to play your game for my 3 Random horror games. Your game is at 22:47.
I thought this was a cool concept & I think it was intense, disturbing too and creepy. I hated there was no sprint, as if you pressed shift, it actually stopped you from moving. I think there should've been a difficulty level, where you had 5 minutes, not 14 minutes or if they had like some sort of spy camera to come straight back. I am looking forward to chapter 2! (I also saw what happens if the timer runs out)
Here is my video!!
Hi,
for some reason, when i enter the locked room, the screen turned totally black for some reason. Is there way to fix this?
Not too bad, wish there was more too it but I think its off to a good start! It's the fir
st game in my video :) any support would help!A very good game, short but entertaining. I would have liked a few more jump scares to keep me from getting too relaxed, but for chapter 1, it's on the right track. I'm looking forward to playing the next part.
¡Felicidades por el juego!
Interesting...
I loved the mechanics & the story direction of this game, but the dialogue felt clunky at times. Other than that, if you make a sequel, hopefully it picks up right after this one & I can't wait to play your future games!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your feedback and kind words 🙏
I also want to mention that English isn’t my first language, so sometimes I struggle a bit with writing natural dialogue. That said, I’m definitely working on improving it for future projects.
I’m really glad you enjoyed the mechanics and story, and I hope I can deliver an even better experience next time!

The game is really cool, but I think there’s some incorrect information on your creator page:
“All GAMES BUILT SOLO — EVERY LINE OF CODE — EVERY ASSET — EVERY SOUND”
Also on the description:
"This game was built entirely alone — every script, every sound, every asset, every scene. No team. No budget. Just one person and a lot of sleepless nights."
If this is what you meant, I think you should consider changing it, since a few assets were taken from itch like the characters. I'm not sure, but it looks like that assets pack.
Hey, thanks a lot for pointing that out — I really appreciate it 👍
Just to clarify what I meant: when I said “built entirely alone,” I was referring to the fact that I worked on the whole project by myself — the coding, game design, implementation, and putting everything together.
It’s true that I used some assets from platforms like fab, but I personally searched for them, selected them, and integrated/modified them to fit the game.
I understand that the wording might sound a bit misleading, so I’ll consider updating it to make things clearer.
Thanks again for the feedback 🙏
Thanks for the reply!
I understand what you mean — selecting, modifying them to fit the game, and putting everything together is still real work, and a lot of devs do it that way.
But it still refers to the original creators of the assets, so I think it wouldn’t really be accurate to say “built” them as a fact. It’s more like you modified and integrated them into the game.
If most of the assets are yours, maybe just mention something like "most assets created by me", or highlight that the programming, game design, and development were all done solo, working late nights.
The quote feels a bit misleading yeah, but glad you’re open to changing it! :)
Looking forward to your future games, this one already feels really good!
Thank you for pointing that out, you’re absolutely right. I’ll make sure to clarify that in future projects. I really appreciate your interest in my games, it means a lot and keeps me motivated 🎮
Really want this to continue into a series!
Is Not Like Them coming to Steam?

Definitely worth trying if you like horror games.
This game has potential, keep going!

My Review/Thoughts I Suppose(May Contain Spoilers):
The atmosphere of this game is pretty good. I do like how every few seconds the view makes it seem like you're blinking, thus adding to the immersion of the game and player. I also like the ending, for once a horror game MC had the smarts to actually get out of their. Now since these beings who claim to be "everywhere" I dont rlly know what Adam really intends on doing, it seems like they WILL find him at some point. I kinda wonder what they are suppose to be as well? Skinwalker? Shapeshifter? maybe alien? (that last one is based on the lil form u briefly see when the "father" returns to the house. I did encounter a glitch (?) in the game where I could not progress after opening the parents bedroom door. The screen goes black but the timer keeps going and u can still move as I heard the players footsteps. I ended up getting lucky as I just walked around and spam clicking till I found something that was clickable, which kicked me out of the black screen and I was able to progress. Thanks for the experience, 4/5!

That’s just the beginning… it only gets worse from here 👀
Hello, my friend! I just posted my playthrough/review so I wanted to leave it here for you as well. Please feel free to use the timestamps in the description. :)
Hey, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to play and make a video 🙏
I’ll definitely check it out — and the timestamps are a great touch!
Thanks again for the support, it really means a lot 👀
Decent game, the immediate cut to blacks and the (bad ending) almost ruined the experience for me. Outside of that. Really liked the whole invasion of the body snatchers concept. Looking forward to chapter 2's release!
Thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it 🙏
Yeah, I understand what you mean about the cut to black and the bad ending — I’ll definitely work on improving that for the next chapter.
Glad you liked the concept though, that means a lot 👀
I’ll try to make Chapter 2 a much better experience overall.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🙏
I’m really glad you enjoyed it!
And I’m definitely working on more — I’ll try to make the next one even better 👀
Pretty sweet First dabbling into game creation dude!
I'll be awaiting chapter two.
9/10 Nasty Parents.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the support — it honestly means a lot 🙏
I’m really glad you enjoyed it, especially the story and atmosphere!
And yeah… those parents aren’t done yet 👀
I’m already working on Chapter 2, and I’ll make sure it’s even better.
Thanks again for the 9/10 — I’ll try to earn that 10/10 next time 😄
Holy shit man! What a game, I don't even know what they were, like replacements or something? That's my type of horror!
Haha thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🙏
And yeah… they’re not exactly what they seem 👀
I’m keeping it a bit mysterious for now, but you’ll start to understand more in Chapter 2
Glad it’s your type of horror 😄
My suggestion add like labs and stuff, like old 80s horror movies
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🙏
I’m really glad you enjoyed the story and took the time to piece everything together — that’s exactly the kind of experience I was hoping to create 👀
And about what they actually are… I’ll keep that a bit of a mystery for now 😏 but it’s something I definitely want to explore more in future chapters.
Also, thank you for the feedback about the ambient music and resolution — that’s really helpful, and I’ll be working on improving those in future updates.
I’ll definitely check out your video, thanks again for playing and sharing it!
Very good game. I really enjoyed playing this. I can't wait for the second chapter. Keep up the good work!
I’m really glad you enjoyed the game!
And I’m happy to hear you’re excited for the second chapter 👀 I’m definitely working on expanding the story and making it even better.
Thanks again for the support, it means a lot!
Very, very good, can't wait for the second part!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your feedback — it honestly means a lot 🙏
I’m really glad you enjoyed the experience and noticed those details. That’s exactly the kind of feeling I was trying to create.
And I’m happy to hear you’re curious about the next chapter 👀 I’m definitely thinking about expanding the story and making it bigger.
Your feedback really motivates me to keep working on it, so thank you again!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🙏
I’m really glad the story surprised you — that’s exactly what I was aiming for!
And yeah, I understand what you mean about the length. I kept it short for this first experience, but I definitely want to make something bigger next 👀
Hearing that you can’t wait for more really motivates me, so thank you again!
