Your traffic, your disk, your box.

Inspect, name, mesh and expose localhost from one window. The laptop is the hub and the cloud is a plug — so there is no meter, no expiry and no account to lose.

Sheet 02 · scope

Five uses. No others.

If a story is not one of these five, it does not go on this site — and it does not go in the product either.

Mobile vs localhost

QR join: scan with the WireGuard app on iOS or Android. No account.

QR join mesh. Phone hits https://api.local. Inspector shows JSON. Map Local returns 500. Retry.

Straight answers

01Do I need an account?

No. Local always works. There is no 1NetworkTool account and no meter. Public paths use Cloudflare, a pasted ngrok token, or a VPS you attach. Nothing incoming on the home router.

02Is this Tailscale?

No. We do not compete with Tailscale as a company VPN. Scope is a handful of personal devices hitting localhost. If Tailscale is already running, we can inspect that IP too.

03What is Pro?

$49 once. Unlimited inspect and personal mesh, Map Local, breakpoints, public expose, MCP and the webhook inbox. One license covers Mac and Windows for that person. Free is capped inspect, unlimited local names, mesh up to 2 devices.

04Can I use it from a phone?

iOS and Android are mesh clients in v1, not full hosts. QR join, hit https://api.local, inspect on the laptop.

05What is the CLI and MCP key?

CLI is 1net. MCP key is onenetworktool. UI, CLI and MCP are three consumers of one OpenAPI surface.
