Bug Description
Most of the original iteration of the plugin was merged into WordPress 6.8. It's not clear what additional functionality the plugin offers on first glance, or if it's still needed when running WP >= 6.8.
The readme files should be updated to clarify what additional functionality the plugin adds (a UI to opt-in to prerendering and moderate eagerness) and references to the Core merges.
