I am a fourth year PhD candidate in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) advised by Prof. Wei Hu and Prof. Gabriel Poesia. My research focuses on the science of deep learning, specifically training dynamics and reasoning capabilities of Transformers. In summer 2026, I was a research intern at the Institute of Foundation Models, where I worked on predictable LLM pretraining.

I completed my undergraduate studies (BTech) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.
