My interests include retrocomputing, permacomputing, and making use of hardware in unexpected ways. More vaguely, I'm also into reverse-engineering, networks, osdev and electronics. I've done systems programming in Bash (yes, the shell!) and it's genuinely my favourite environment for quick hacks. You may know me from my Minecraft server written in Bash, my web framework (also in Bash), or maybe one of my other fun, cursed projects.

Infra-wise: I'm hosting sakamoto.pl, along with some services you might have heard of, or even used yourself (Floppy wiki, SERVFAIL DNS).

From some... less computery things, I enjoy loooong train rides (and travelling in general :3), cuddling, and various forms of urban exploration.

lately, i've been working on:

- finalizing our AS application and setting up first peerings!
  AS218679 (Project SERVFAIL et al.) is now up and running from
  two locations: Warsaw and Braunschweig!

- probably some video stuff i don't know man

- as always, trying to carve out some of my time for SERVFAIL. We've shipped
  a large feature last weekend, planning out a big migration as we speak.

been a while since last update (:

- we had a major uplink outage earlier this week. I'm contemplating writing
  up about the details on the weblog, but it's still in the air whether
  I will.

- going to MRMCD later this week! looking forward to seeing people there!

- spent a whole lot of time reworking a bunch of things around my video
  recording pipeline. it'll be a while until the next video is out, mostly
  because i'm not happy with the quality of my storytelling. nice words
  (or harsh but constructive critique) are appreciated at this time.
