I honestly have too many doubts on @Canonical's ability to maintain #ubuntu at this point. This is a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04, activated Ubuntu Pro, and Firefox crashes, and is unable to start. I mean what? I did update my kernel, and other packages, but why this?

It's kind of wild how just re-reading your earlier work on any research/study makes you rework it such that you find faults in your earlier work. It's fascinating how much we improve slowly over time as humans on anything that can be measured over time

Today was a wild day. A friend hid their personal stuff on Windows using some third party tool and forgot the password. The tool required a license to restore forgotten password. Turns out the password was a fluff, and the directory was just hidden using NTFS attributes. Lol!

It's better to say that people have got used to slop, and bad laggy software in general. Not saying that Electron apps aren't great, VS Code is based on electron and used to be quite a good balance between speed for cross platform shipping and heavy IDE features with extensions

So basically nobody was using Emacs, Vim, Microsoft 365, File Explorer, Blender, Photoshop, VLC, 7-Zip, WinRAR, AutoCAD, MATLAB, Audacity, XCode or OBS? Try rewriting any of these in Electron without melting your CPU.
