Today, my Select Committee on China revealed U.S. financial institutions propped up companies tied to the CCP military. This is wrong. U.S. banks should not be allowed to fund companies with proven links to the CCP, and help our nation's chief adversary build up its military.

Yesterday, @USCGGreatLakes personnel rescued a person stranded on ice near Mackinac. The @DHSgov shutdown leaves thousands of heroic Coasties without pay as they conduct dangerous rescues. The Senate must pass funding for DHS, and ensure those who keep our nation safe are paid.
