The Clarity Act is dead. Before the post-mortems and the planning sessions begin, a note of thanks. Many of you worked extremely hard on this bill over the last 18 months. You fought harder than most people will ever know to make sure we had a good product that actually worked

This is the end of an era for crypto policy. We’ve pursued a comprehensive market structure bill for many years. The Clarity Act is the latest, and best, in a long line of attempts. I expect it’s the last. We either do this now or we go back to the drawing board on legislation.

Today, represented by former Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar, @HyperliquidPC filed an amicus brief in CME v. Selig explaining why the case should be dismissed. CME doesn't want to offer perpetual futures? Fine. But it has no standing in court to block others that do.
