pnpm should be the default package manager to consider for any JS/TS repo these days. Both security and performance wins are very tangible.

LocalStack used to be the golden standard for local AWS testing. Their upcoming changes mean CI now requires credits, and enterprise usage needs a paid license. That's why I've built fauxqs - a TypeScript SQS/SNS/S3 emulator. It's the first fully-featured one that's fully usable

there has been practically nobody working on it (besides one part-time maintainer). many issues have been ignored and/or closed, prs are being ignored. the whole radix team left years ago. the company who own the project told me they want to kill it. x.com/ccccjjjjeeee/s…
