66-dbus-launch drops basu. It now carries odbus, an in-tree D-Bus client that speaks exactly the nine messages of the dbus-broker controller socket, and nothing else. Always built, no external library. git.obarun.org/Obarun/66-tools #Obarun

Obarun has a new installer. obinstall replaces obarun-install and obarun-install-themes: a graphical wizard in your browser, or a declarative TOML on the command line, both producing the same system. news.obarun.org/2026/08/31/obi…

Systemd recomputes your boot graph at every boot. Generators read the kernel cmdline, the partition table, /etc/fstab, then synthesise units. Two boots of a machine nobody touched can differ. 66 froze the graph before boot. It's a file. Diff it, ship it docs.obarun.org/66/0.9.1.0/66-…
