Our first home in Hawaii

was a Kona Coffee shack 

in Kealakekua. We drove off road

through the coffee trees.

Coffee flowers are white.

The coffee cherries containing

the beans are shiny red.

It rains every afternoon

on the mountain slopes

of Kona on Hawaii Island,
