We seemed to have lots and lots of rain in February. I did find a few days where it stopped raining and managed to get outside.
We went to an 80th birthday party.
The following photos have loaded back to front. We had lots of snow one weekend and managed a walk on the tops between Rishworth moor and Blackstone Edge.
| Manchester in the distance. |
On another evening it was clear on the top and foggy in the valley.
I had little hearts painted on my nails for Valentines day.
I managed to find some snowdrops on a local walk.
We spent a pleasant afternoon at Saltaire, Salts Mill.
And snowdrop spotting on a local walk.
You can see how much rain we had!
| Cow Lane |
I met a friend in Hebden Bridge for coffee.
A walk through a wet Manchester...
The garden is springing back to life.
We went to The Pines in February too. I'll do a post over there soon.
A brilliant Traditional Pub.
Then onto some pubs in Halifax Town centre.
We ended the night at The Three Pigeons.
As you can see the photos sometimes don't tell all the story, lots of rubbish just thrown over the wall into the fields. I just don't understand people sometimes.

and another walk on Norland Moor.
And after a short absence I am glad to say hello to Clydene!
Wonderful photographs, as ever, but your cat portraits are stunning.
ReplyDeleteAlways so wonderful to visit your part of the world, so totally different to mine. Quite the pub crawl! Definitely couldn't do that here, especially in such atmospheric pubs.
