and is dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, revered here as Shankar.

Radha Krishna Idols

On 16th November 2025 I visit Shri Krishna Raas Mahotsav at Gandhi Maidan, Bongaigaon.
Great experience. 
( Raas Mahotsav is a major religious and cultural festival in Assam, celebrating the life and divine love of Lord Krishna. Held primarily in November during the full moon (Raas Purnima), the festival is renowned for its elaborate enactments of Krishna's life through traditional dance, drama, music. )
