Kicking things off here... I chose the following poem by Robert Service because to this day, the story is one that continues to spark my imagination. I think I was in 5th grade the first time I heard it and can remember vividly the images it created in my mind. It followed me through high school, helping me to secure a spot in the Debate State Finals for Poetry. Now, even as a parent, I find myself sharing it with my children, keeping the story alive for a new generation.
