DeviantArt has always been a global community, shaped by artists worldwide. For years, deviants have asked for more ways to experience the platform in their native language. Today, we’re introducing the first supported language: español, making it easier than ever for Spanish-speaking creators to explore and participate in the community. ¡Bienvenido!  How to switch your language Navigate to your Profile dropdown in the top-right navigation bar. UPDATE: Maintenance is now complete! Your images and videos can be submitted as usual.  Perk up your feed with something energizing, inspired by your coffee haiku! On April 8th starting at around 11:15PM Pacific, image and video uploads will be temporarily disabled for about 2-4 hours due to scheduled system maintenance. This will affect all image and video actions across DeviantArt, including new uploads, editing existing deviations (such as replacing a file), uploading images to comments and Messages, saving drawings in DeviantArt Draw, as well as using DreamUp and Video Creator. It's been four months since Messages launched, and we've been keeping a close eye on community feedback, from the things you're enjoying to what you'd like to see next.  There's still a lot more we'd love to do with Messages that didn't make it into the first version. So we want to hear from you!  Messages will be getting some improvements soon, and your feedback will help shape what gets worked on first. Some possible features are: The ability to pin messages Larger numbers of participants in group chats To assign moderators in group chats and channels Shareable invite links to join channels Subscriber-only channels tied to a Subscription tier Which of those would you use most? What else would you like to see added, improved, or changed? An extra layer of security has been added to your settings in an ongoing effort to help keep your DeviantArt account safe.  Why it's needed As scams and phishing attempts increase across the web, the vast majority of account compromises on DeviantArt occur when scammers trick users into voluntarily sharing their password or changing their password or account email to one provided by the attacker. This, in turn, gives them access to fully take over their account.  What's changing To protect you, certain sensitive actions now require a security code (also called a one‑time password) sent to your email.  You’ll be sent this code when you:  Change the email address on your account or  Turn off password reset emails  This makes it much harder for a bad actor to fully lock you out, even if they get your password.  How a common attack works  Someone pretends to be DeviantArt staff, asks for your email or password “for verification” or tells you to change it to a specific one.
