What Is a Labyrinth?
Part walking meditation, part mindful journey, a labyrinth is a single winding path that leads to the center and back again. No experience required.
What Is a Labyrinth Network?
A labyrinth network is a shared center for our community: connecting Memphis to labyrinths, and labyrinth people to each other.
Hi, I’m Laura, a trained labyrinth facilitator here in Memphis, and the 901 Labyrinth Network is something I’ve been dreaming about for a while and am finally making happen.
Think of it as a local landing place where you can discover labyrinths around our city, find upcoming walks and events, meet facilitators and fellow enthusiasts, and stay connected to this community we’re all part of.
Whether you tend a labyrinth, lead walks, or simply love stepping onto the path now and then, this network is for you, and we’re building it together from the ground up. Here’s what you’ll find:
- A calendar of labyrinth walks and events happening around Memphis.
- A directory of local labyrinths and the facilitators who care for them.
- Updates and stories to help us all stay connected to this community and each other.
Have a labyrinth, host events, or want to share your story? We’d love to hear from you, whether you’d like to be listed in our directory, have your events featured on the calendar, or simply stay in the loop.
World Labyrinth Day
On the first Saturday in May each year thousands around the globe “Walk as One at 1” to celebrate World Labyrinth Day. By walking a labyrinth at 1:00 p.m. local time they become part of a moving meditation for peace that travels across every time zone.
Saturday, May 2, 2026 was the 18th Annual World Labyrinth Day and many in the Mid South participated with walks, meditations, art and play.

901 Labyrinths + Memphis Parks
We gathered for a brief introduction to the labyrinth and then joined thousands all over the world walking at 1 p.m. creating a wave of peaceful energy around the Earth. 🌀
I’m so grateful to all the WLD planners and participants and to the Memphis Parks team for their partnership and for this stunning promotional video.
