Why shops stay with us

Anyone can sell you a stitch file. Few can sell you a quiet machine.

We started in 2006 punching 200–300 logos a day for a US promotional apparel company. That standard never moved.

20+ yrs

on the machine

Unmatched precision

Twenty years of translating artwork into stitches. Density, underlay and pull compensation are decided per fabric, not by a preset — which is why our files run clean the first time.

300+

logos a day

Partnership, not order-taking

Most of our work comes from shops we have served for years — including our very first client, still with us today. Trade pricing and dedicated digitizers come standard for regular partners.

24/7

live support

Three offices, one clock

Studios in the United States, United Kingdom and Pakistan keep production moving around the clock. Send a file at midnight — someone is already punching it.

Tools we keep investing in

Wilcom e4.5, Wings XP 6, Tajima DG16, APS Ethos and DesignShop v11 — licensed, current, and used by digitizers who know which one suits your job.

The difference you feel at the machine

Auto-converted files look fine on screen.
Then you run them.

Software auto-convert

30 seconds
  • Density guessed by software — thread snaps mid-run
  • No underlay, so the design sinks into the fabric
  • Registration drifts; outlines land off the fill
  • Hundreds of jump stitches left to trim by hand
  • Stitch count inflated — you pay for the waste
What we deliver

Hand-punched by a digitizer

12–24 hours
  • Density and stitch angle routed for the exact fabric
  • Purpose-built underlay locks the design on top
  • Pull compensation applied edge by edge
  • Jumps trimmed and paths sequenced for one clean run
  • Lowest workable stitch count — cheaper to run

What we punch

10 disciplines, one studio.

Caps behave differently to leather. Foam behaves differently to twill. Every job is assigned to the digitizer who runs that surface every day.

How it works

Four steps between your logo and the needle.

One digitizer owns your file from the moment it lands to the moment it ships. No queue, no handoffs, no software shortcuts.

  1. 01 Any file, any quality

    Send the artwork

JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS — or a photo of a hand-drawn sketch. Tell us the finished size, the fabric and the machine format you need.

  2. 02 100% manual

    A digitizer punches it

A human maps every stitch: underlay, angles, densities, pull compensation and the sequence the needle will travel.

  3. 03 Second pair of eyes

    Quality check on the floor

Stitch count, underlay, density, stitch direction and registration are reviewed against the original artwork before anything is released.

  4. 04 Rush available same day

    Machine-ready in your inbox

Delivered in your preferred format inside 12–24 hours, with a stitch simulation so you know exactly what the machine will do.

Free unlimited revisions. Lifetime file backup. 24/7 live support.

Our story

Twenty years at the same bench.

Digitizing Zone has never been a marketplace or a reseller. The same studio that punched a left-chest logo in 2006 punches yours today — larger, but with the same people deciding where the needle goes.

More about us
  1. 2006

    Two hundred logos a day

We started punching for a US promotional apparel company — 200 to 300 logos a day, every one checked before it shipped. That volume set the habits everything since is built on.

  2. 2012

    A second clock

A UK studio joined the floor. Between two time zones, work stopped waiting overnight for someone to wake up.

  3. 2019

    Round the clock

Lahore completed the trio. A file sent at midnight anywhere now lands with a digitizer who is already at their desk.

  4. Today

    Still the first client

The shop we punched our very first file for is still with us. Most of our work comes from partners measured in years, not orders.

In their words

Shops that stopped shopping around.

“Quality and speed we honestly did not expect at this price. The stitch simulation alone saves us a sample run on every order.”
Amanda White Senior Project Manager
“Reasonable pricing and swift delivery, invoiced cleanly every month. Finance has no complaints, and neither does production.”
James Brown Chief Financial Officer
“Precision on small lettering is the real test. Theirs is the first vendor whose 4 mm text actually reads on a polo.”
Christopher King Managing Director

Questions

Everything shops ask before the first file.

Still not answered? The studio is staffed around the clock — ask and a digitizer replies.

Talk to a digitizer
What exactly is embroidery digitizing?

It is the process of converting your artwork into a stitch file an embroidery machine can read. A digitizer decides every stitch type, angle, density, underlay and the order the needle travels — it is not a file conversion, it is a craft.

How much will my design cost?

Embroidery digitizing is $3.00 per 1,000 stitches with a $15 minimum. Vector art is $10.00 per hour. Common jobs are available flat: $30 for a left-chest or cap logo, $80 for a jacket back. Send the artwork and you get an exact price before any work starts.

How fast do I get the file?

Standard turnaround is 12–24 hours. Same-day rush is available and we do not charge a surcharge for it. The studio runs 24/7 across the USA, UK and Pakistan, so files move while you sleep.

Which formats do you deliver?

Every commercial machine format — DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, HUS, XXX, EMB, PXF, TBF, SEW, CSD, ART and more. Vector work is delivered as AI, EPS, SVG, PDF or CDR. Ask for several at once; there is no extra charge.

What if the sew-out is not right?

You get free unlimited revisions. Send us a photo of the sew-out and we re-punch the problem area until it runs clean. A job is only finished when it works on your machine, not when it looks right on ours.

Do you use auto-digitizing software?

Never. Every file is punched manually by a digitizer in Wilcom, Tajima DG16, Wings XP, APS Ethos or DesignShop. Auto-converted files run thin, drift out of registration and break thread — that is the whole reason customers come to us.

Who owns the finished file?

You do, outright. We also keep a lifetime encrypted backup so you can re-download any design you have ever ordered from your client portal, years later, at no cost.

How do I pay?

Securely by card through the client portal once your quote is approved. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges and no minimum monthly volume. High-volume shops can request partner terms.
