Can I connect my own domain?: Once your community is up and running, you can add your domain to it from the management page of your community.
What does soft limit mean?: We won't shut off your community just because you're attracting a lot of attention. We will reach out to you if we notice a consistent increase in traffic that warrants a higher plan.
Can I cancel at any time?: Yes you can cancel at any time. Your community will be deleted at the end of your subscription period.
How impactful to the environment is your hosting platform?: We consciously operate on Kubernetes which is intended to reduce computer resources when capacity is not needed. Our servers run with a provider that pushes hard for climate protection, for instance our European based community platform is running completely on hydropower.
Where is my data stored, are you based in the EU?: Yes, our main office is in the Netherlands. Your and our data resides in Germany. It will not leave the EU at any cost.
Do you own my data?: No, you do. You are free to request a backup of your data whenever you need it.
Do you help me migrate my existing community?: Yes, we can help you migrate your community to our platform. We have done migrations for massive communities on abandoned software towards Flarum and our hosting stack.
Is there a fair use policy?: Consistent, large-scale usage that affects other communities may require us to act quickly. Brief spikes are never an issue; it's only prolonged, significant overuse that may prompt immediate action. Your plan includes a storage allocation that grows as you upgrade. We don't actively police uploads, but we reserve the right to reach out if usage becomes unreasonable for your plan tier.
What content and usage is not allowed?: Your community must be used as an actual community — not as a file host, media server, or storage system. Beyond that, content involving hate speech, sexual material, copyright violations, or anything illegal under Dutch or EU law is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate termination.
