The timeline between contacting us and starting therapy fluctuates depending on your schedule as well as the time it takes for your insurance to approve the treatment on their end. Typically it takes 2 – 3 weeks.

How do I know if my child has ASD?

Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD is usually diagnosed from ages 2-4. You might notice your child has an extreme sensitivity to clothing, noise, or textures. Other signs might be that your child lacks awareness in surroundings, they do not imitate smiles/laughing. They might never cry OR cry non-stop. You might notice a delay in speaking or little to no ‘babbling’.
If you notice any of the above signs, contact your pediatrician.

How much time do I need to commit to ABA therapy?

The scheduled hours for therapy will be dependent on how many hours you are available and how many hours your insurance approves per week. While some experts recommend 40 hours a week, in most cases therapists work with patients around 20 hours a week, but there is no real ‘standard’ and FlutterFlies will work with you to ensure your needs are being met.
