Duke Men's Basketball A-Z Game Day Guide

- Accessible Parking: ADA parking is located in the Whitford Lot, Science Drive Visitors Lot and Science Drive Garage. One placard per vehicle is required.
- Accessible Lift-Equipped Van: Vans are available from all game day parking lots. Speak to a parking attendant or use the DUACCESS text line at designated pickup points on Science Drive, Whitford Drive Circle and Science Drive Visitors Lot.
- Golf Cart Shuttles: Golf cart shuttles are available inside the Science Drive Visitors Lot to assist guests to and from their cars to the stadium at Whitford Circle. Golf carts will run two hours prior to tip-off until one hour postgame.
- Entry Screening Accommodations: Guests with medical devices should notify event staff and will be assisted through the screening process. Accessible entry lanes are available at all stadium entrances.
- Accessible Seating Will Call Entrance: Located at the far-right door of the Rubenstein Pavilion Entrance at the designated Medical/Family Lane of the screening area.
- Accessible Entrances: All general public entrances to Cameron Indoor Stadium at Rubenstein Pavilion, Morton Plaza, South Hall of Honor and Hall of Fame are accessible for guests with disabilities.
- Elevators: Elevator access is available from the Rubenstein Pavilion lobby on the lower level to the upper concourse behind Section 2 next to the Champions Club.
Seating for Guests with Disabilities
- General Public and Iron Dukes: A limited number of accessible seats are available in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Special accommodations must be made in advance of game day by contacting the Duke Ticket Office at (919) 681-2583. Reservations end at 4:30 p.m. two business days prior to game day. For Saturday, Sunday and Monday games, reservations end at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday prior to game day.
- Duke University Undergraduate & Graduate Students: A limited number of accessible seats are available in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Special accommodations must be made in advance by contacting Duke Access and Accommodation Services at (919) 668-1267. Reservations end at 4 p.m. three business days prior to game day. For Saturday, Sunday and Monday games, reservations end at 4 p.m. on Wednesday prior to game day.
Facility Access & Amenities
- Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices: Wheelchairs and assistive devices are permitted in Cameron Indoor Stadium and will be visually screened following standard bag search procedures. Guests in wheelchairs should contact the Duke Ticket Office to reserve accessible seating in Section 20, Row CC. Other assistive devices, including walkers, may be stored under the bleachers on the lower level and just outside the section vomitory on the upper-level concourse.
- Assistive Listening Devices: Available on game day for those in need. Contact stadium staff and ask them to contact Game Operations with your seat location.
- Accessible Concessions Window: Located on the lower level in the North Lobby behind Section 18. The accessible window is at the far right of the stand.
Restrooms, Family Services & Sensory Support
- Accessible Restrooms: All men’s and women’s restrooms are accessible for guests with disabilities. Men’s restrooms are located behind Sections 1 and 9 on the upper level and on the lower level in the North Lobby behind Section 18. Women’s restrooms are located behind Sections 4, 6 and 12 on the upper level and on the lower level in the southwest corner between Sections 17 and 20. Men’s and women’s restrooms are also located in the South Lobby behind Section 20.
- Gender-Neutral Accessible Family Restrooms: Two gender-neutral accessible family restrooms (Rooms 103T and 104T) are located on the lower level of Cameron Indoor Stadium on the southeast corner off the South Lobby. The restrooms provide changing tables for families with small children.
- Lactation Room: Located in Room 102 on the lower level of Cameron Indoor Stadium on the southeast corner off the South Lobby.
- Sensory-Inclusive Accommodations: Sensory bags with noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools and cue cards are available at the home ticket window in Rubenstein Pavilion and in the quiet room off the southwest lobby of the court. Bags must be returned before leaving the stadium.
Additional Information
- Emergency or Severe Weather Evacuation: Stadium event staff will be available to assist guests with disabilities who request assistance in exiting the stadium or seeking safe shelter.
- Closed Captioning: Provided on a dedicated display on the main video board.
- Service Animals and Service Animals in Training: Refer to the Animal & Service Animal Policies section for full guidelines.
- ADA Ticket Fraud: Ticket fraud includes, but is not limited to, the misrepresentation of a disability. Duke Athletics reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation, which may result in relocation, revocation of tickets or ejection.
Guests 21 years of age and older are welcome to purchase alcoholic beverages at concessions locations on the upper concourse. Alcohol sales conclude at the end of halftime.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Section 17 bleachers, Section 18 bleachers and Section 20 bleachers for any guests. Students are not permitted to bring alcohol into Section 19 bleachers. Signage is posted at all sales locations to remind guests of these restrictions. Staff will check tickets/wristbands for all guests at the court-level entry doors.
Alcohol policies will be strictly enforced on game day:
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought into or taken out of the stadium.
- All guests consuming alcoholic beverages will be required to show ID regardless of age at the point of sale and must be prepared to show proper ID to event staff anywhere inside the venue. If proper ID cannot be shown, the guest will be referred to Duke University Police.
- Transaction limits are set in accordance with North Carolina ABC Commission guidelines.
- Beer or seltzer – Two per identification per transaction.
- Canned cocktails – One per identification per transaction.
- Event staff reserve the right to refuse alcohol sales to any guest.
- Underage drinking is prohibited.
- Guests under the age of 21 in possession of alcohol will be addressed by law enforcement, ejected from the event and potentially face further sanction.
- Individuals who are seen supplying alcohol to underage guests will be addressed by event staff and law enforcement, ejected from the event and potentially face further sanction.
- Duke University students, enrolled or on leave, who violate stadium alcohol policies will be addressed by event staff and law enforcement, ejected from the event and referred to the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards for disciplinary action.
- No refunds for confiscated beverages.
For guests over 21, a Designated Driver Pledge can be signed at the marketing table at the South Hall of Honor until the 8:00 mark of the first half. Participants pledging to provide safe and sober transportation for their group receive a complimentary concessions voucher.
Cameron Indoor Stadium adheres to specific guidelines regarding animals during games:
Service Animals: Trained service animals are welcome at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Service animals are dogs specifically trained to assist individuals with disabilities. These animals must remain under the handler’s control at all times and should be leashed or tethered unless doing so would impede the animal’s ability to perform its trained tasks. Service animals must not exhibit aggressive behavior toward people or other animals. All service animals must have up-to-date rabies vaccination tags or proof of vaccination available upon request.
Service Animals in Training: In North Carolina, service animals in training are granted the same rights of access as service animals assisting individuals with disabilities. These animals should be easily identifiable as service animals in training, typically through a collar, leash, harness or cape. Trainers are responsible for any damage caused by the animal on Duke University property. Service animals in training must remain under the handler’s control, be housebroken and adhere to the same behavioral standards as fully trained service animals.
Personal Pets and Emotional Support Animals: Personal pets, therapy dogs, emotional support dogs and companion dogs are not allowed inside the stadium during games. These animals are not considered service animals as defined by the ADA and do not have access rights to the stadium during events.
Cameron Indoor Stadium operates as a cashless venue. Credit/debit cards and mobile payment apps are accepted for transactions inside the stadium. For guests requiring cash services, a Duke Federal Credit Union ATM is located just outside Rubenstein, adjacent to the Johnson Family Team Store near the Bostock Gate.
Banners and signs are permitted inside Cameron Indoor Stadium. However, Duke reserves the right to prohibit or require the cessation of any display that obstructs the view of other guests, obscures stadium signage, can be considered an advertisement or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate or derogatory.

A great variety of food items and Coca-Cola products are available from concession stands throughout Cameron Indoor Stadium, operated by Proof of the Pudding.

An accessible service window is available at the North Lobby stand. All concession locations open when stadium doors open one hour before tip-off and are fully cashless. Payment is accepted via credit/debit cards or mobile payment apps.
Duke students and staff may use Flex accounts with a physical DukeCard. Mobile DukeCard payments are not currently available.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the stadium, except for necessary medical or childcare-related items.
For first aid and emergency medical services, visit the designated areas located in the southwest corner on the lower level between Sections 17 and 20 and on the upper level in the Hall of Honor behind Section 13. Emergency Medical Operations are staffed by Duke Life Flight, Durham County EMS and Duke EMS. AEDs are available in both locations.
In case of emergency, contact the nearest event staff member or police officer for assistance or call Duke Police at (919) 684-2444 or Durham Police at 9-1-1.
We are committed to ensuring a positive, safe and family-friendly environment at Cameron Indoor Stadium. We expect all guests to maintain appropriate behavior throughout the game, treating fellow attendees, athletes, coaches and officials with respect.
Guests should refrain from:
- Disrupting others’ enjoyment of the game
- Using or displaying foul, abusive language or gestures
- Appearing to be impaired or in a diminished capacity
- Entering competition areas or restricted zones
- Smoking or using tobacco products on campus
- Throwing objects in competition areas or within the stadium
- Engaging in disorderly conduct

Guests who do not comply with these guidelines may be subject to ejection, potential arrest and further sanctions. Duke University students will also be referred to the Office of Student Conduct & Community Standards for disciplinary actions. Repeated violations may lead to the loss of season or student ticket privileges.
Items found should be turned in to the nearest police officer or event staff. Items turned into police or event staff will be taken to the home player-guest ticket window in Rubenstein Pavilion. Guests trying to locate items on game day should contact the nearest staff member.
To inquire about lost items, contact Duke Game Operations at (919) 668-5658 or email duaa-gameops@duke.edu. Unclaimed lost and found items will be retained for 30 days following the event. After this time, any unclaimed items will be discarded.
Officially licensed Duke souvenirs are available at Duke Stores merchandise stands located on the upper level around the concourse. The Duke merchandise stands open when doors open to Cameron Indoor Stadium one hour prior to tip-off.
The Johnson Family Team Store inside the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center is also open on game days for the latest Nike team gear and merchandise. Store hours can be found at dukestores.duke.edu/hours. The Johnson Family Team Store is open on all game days until one hour postgame.
Guests wishing to visit the Johnson Family Team Store after entering Cameron Indoor Stadium should go to the Rubenstein Pavilion lobby for assistance.

For your safety during emergencies, follow these guidelines:
- Follow Directions: In any emergency, adhere to instructions from the public address (PA) announcer, event staff and emergency responders.
- Designate Meet-Up Locations: Establish a pre-determined meeting spot both inside and outside the stadium for reuniting with friends and family if separated or in case of an emergency.
- Know Your Exits: Familiarize yourself with the nearest exits and an alternate exit from your location.

Emergency Vehicle Access
Keep roads and emergency lanes clear at all times. Vehicles or objects blocking lanes may be towed or removed at the owner’s expense.
Weather Awareness
Monitor weather conditions and be prepared for heat, rain or severe weather. If the game is suspended due to severe weather, return to your vehicle until further notice.
Entry to Cameron Indoor Stadium begins 60 minutes prior to tip-off. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid long lines.
All guests, students and event personnel are subject to security screening prior to entry. Walk-through metal detectors are the primary method of screening. Guests who cannot use a metal detector will be screened with handheld devices and may undergo a pat-down if needed.
- Accessible Entry Lanes: Available at each entrance for guests with medical needs or accommodations. Please alert event staff for assistance.
- Clear Bag Policy: All bags must comply with the Clear Bag Policy.
Refusal to comply with screening procedures will result in denied entry. All screening is conducted for the safety of guests, student-athletes and staff.
Re-Entry Policy: Cameron Indoor Stadium enforces a strict no re-entry policy. Once guests exit the stadium, they will not be permitted to re-enter. Exceptions will be made only in cases of emergency or stadium evacuation. In such events, guests may re-enter with a valid ticket once gates reopen and screening resumes.
Stadium lighting effects may be used on game day, including blackout and pulsating effects, to enhance the fan experience. Guests suffering from epilepsy or other visual light stimulation effects are advised to see stadium medical staff in the Hall of Honor behind Section 13 or in the southwest corner of the court between Sections 17 and 20. Quiet areas are also available for guests who need to step away.
Duke University is a Tobacco-Free Campus, including game days at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The policy prohibits the use of all tobacco-based products, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, chewing tobacco, snuff and electronic smoking devices, including e-cigarettes, vaping products and IQOS.
