Installation

Up and Running in 3 Steps

Upload to WordPress

Grab the plugin (no account needed) and install via the WordPress Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin admin page.

Download Fonts

Select the Install Core Fonts button from the admin notice displayed after activating.

Create a PDF

Go to Forms → [Your Form] → Form Settings → PDF → Add New, fill out the settings and save.

PDFs can be downloaded on the Entries page.

Set a label, pick a template, add the filename with merge tags, and use conditional logic to control when the PDF is generated.

Choose the paper size and orientation, set the primary font, size, and color, and enable right-to-left text for scripts like Arabic or Hebrew.

Got Questions?

What do I need to run Gravity PDF?

A WordPress site and the Gravity Forms plugin (any license tier works). Most hosting will run Gravity PDF without an issue.

Does it work for entries submitted before I installed Gravity PDF?

Yes! PDFs are generated on demand from your Gravity Forms entry data. Set up a PDF today and you can download documents for entries from last year.

Can it auto-fill an existing PDF (e.g. government forms)?

Not out of the box. Gravity PDF generates documents from templates rather than writing into a PDF you already have. If you need to auto-fill an existing PDF our Bespoke team can build you a custom template.

Will it slow down my website?

No. PDFs are generated when downloaded, or when included as a notification email attachment. A typical document takes a few seconds to create, and temporary files are cleaned up automatically.

What support do I get with the free plugin?
