  • Battle.net Tag, Battle.net id
  • Battle.net account character informations

We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Guilds of WoW will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

System is using Microsoft Azure services for data storage and other infrastructure necessities. All of the security patches and maintenance is provided by Microsoft.

Guilds of WoW may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Guilds of WoW

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Analytics

As of July, 6 2023 sharing data with analytics platforms is stopped.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

July Patch Notes

As we prepare for the new season, July has been another busy month for Guilds of WoW, bringing improvements across recruitment, guild management, events, chat, and much more.

Here are the highlights from this month's update:

  • Introduced a redesigned dashboard for quicker navigation and easier access to guild features.
  • Events and Posts received a UI overhaul with many usability improvements. More updates are planned.
  • The Attendances page now displays quick analytics based on the selected filters.
  • Added Activity Log to provide better visibility into guild management actions.
  • Recruitment forms now support conditional (nested) questions, allowing follow-up questions based on applicants' answers.

  • Added quick RSVP actions to event details.
  • Event managers can now drag and drop RSVPs to update attendance instantly.
  • Roster managers can now drag and drop characters to quickly update their team roles.

Summer Patch Notes

Wishing you all a great patch day and smooth progress through the new Sporefall raid.

Throughout the season, we have been quite busy and there have been many changes along the way. Here is a list of the major updates:

  • Wishlist
  • Officers can now view and manage individual guild members' wishlists from the Personal view, including submitting sim reports on their behalf.
  • Officers can now browse the guild roster's wishlists by Character, not just by Item.
  • Officers can now prevent guild members from editing their own wishlists via the Settings button.
  • Wishlist items now include a full edit history, showing who made changes and when.
  • Wishlist is now available for TBC and MoP guilds.
  • Gear Comparison
  • There is now an enhanced version of the gear view, providing a better overall user experience.
  • The new gear comparison functionality is available in character details, the audit page and team details where equipment, enchantments and stats can be compared more easily.
  • Recruitment
  • LFG now displays guild response rate, average response time and founded date.
  • Recruitment listings now penalize guilds that do not respond in-time. Guilds should avoid stacking applicants and should keep up with applications to maintain their visibility.
  • Gear and Mythic+ details are now displayed on the recruitment application review page.
  • When switching the applied team or guild of an applicant, you can now select your own guild too.
  • Discord Bot
  • You can now enable posting embeds into threads, helping keep parent channels cleaner while moving message details into the relevant thread.
  • Chat
  • The chat system keeps getting better each month and is now more real-time than ever.
  • API
  • There are now two new endpoints for guild managers: members and recruitment applications.
  • These endpoints require the new management API key and do not accept the existing one.
  • Polls
  • You can now allow multiple choices and answer changes.
  • You can now set up to 25 choices per poll and manually sort their order.
  • Subscription
  • Boosted guilds are now selected from the subscription page instead of using the default guild.
  • Tier 4 and Tier 5 subscribers can now dual-boost and select a second guild as well.
  • Integrations
  • Thanks to a new RaidStrats.gg integration, you can now import your guild and team rosters directly into RaidStrats.gg.
