שנה, 6 חודשים - In today's Daily Fix: Warner Bros. Discovery made the painful announcement that they were canceling work on the long-in-development Wonder Woman game, and closing three studios. The Wonder Woman game was first announced in 2021, but was stuck in development hell for years. WB reported spent around $100 million on its development. The three studios being closed or Monolith (who also developed the Shadow of Mordor games), Player First Games, and WB San Diego. In other news, Microsoft dropped a new teaser for the next Fable game, and the unfortunate news that the game is delayed until sometime in 2026. And finally, Bloober Team has signed another deal with Konami for a new game. The developer behind the Silent Hill 2 Remake did not announce what game this would be, but it will be based on an existing Konami IP . Another Silent Hill, perhaps? Or Castlevania?

שנה, 9 חודשים - In today's Daily Fix:Hideo Kojima's first post-Metal Gear game, Death Stranding, has been a PlayStation console exclusive since its release in 2019. It received a PC portin 2020, but it seemed like Xbox One and Series X|S were going to miss out. This morning, however, Xbox owners were pleasantly surprised to see Death Stranding appear on the Microsoft Store, and with a launch sale of 50% off. The game is being published by 505 Games, and won't be the last Kojima title to hit the Xbox: his mysterious game titled OD will arrive on the Series X|S at some point, and his espionage action game (that's not Metal Gear), Physint will hit PlayStation on its release. In other news, Warner Bros. Games has revealed another game burning a hole in its pockets: MultiVersus, the Smash Bros-esque fighter starring WB properties like Scooby-Doo, DC Comics, and more. The game apparently added $100 million in losses to the company, on top of the $200 million dud that was Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. And finally, Sony has patented a new PlayStation controller featuring a "Rewind" button. Apparently it will let you rewind live gameplay, but no new games have been announced that will take advantage of that feature (yet).

Take a look at Agent Smith in action of The Matrix fame in this latest gameplay trailer wielding his iconic pistol and cloning abilities to gain the edge in combat. Agent Smith is launching soon into Season 1 of MultiVersus, available now for PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

שנתיים, 3 חודשים - We are almost halfway through the year and we’ve had some phenomenal games released so far, but there are still so many still to come in 2024!  In this video we list over 50 games that are expected to be released this year, or at the very least, that we hope will!  From Elden Ring & Final Fantasy XIV getting expansions, Killer Klowns, and two Star Wars games, there are so many games to look forward to in the last half of this year.

שנתיים, 5 חודשים - Join game director Tony Hyunh for an update on MultiVersus, including the reveal that the free-to-play platform fighter will be launching on May 28, 2024. MultiVersus will be available for PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) with full cross-play and cross-progression support. Hyunh also reveals MultiVersus has moved to Unreal Engine 5 and rebuilt from the ground up to support a new netcode. Hyunh also notes new characters and stages will be added, each character will get new attacks and combat mechanics, a new PvE mode is coming, and more details to follow in the future.
