DISCOVER OVERVIEW
Awareness & Networking Events

Discover is the Awareness & Networking Events initiative under NEXUS. It supports the participation of Palestinian technology and technology-enabled startups and innovative SMEs in strategically selected regional and international technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem events. 

Discover is designed to help selected firms explore new markets, understand ecosystem trends, increase their visibility, and build early-stage connections with investors, mentors, accelerators, entrepreneurs, and support organizations.

The program goes beyond event attendance. It combines preparation, structured exposure, coordinated participation, networking opportunities, and, where approved, financial support to help firms turn participation into learning, connections, and potential commercial or investment opportunities.

Discover also serves a two-way awareness function. It exposes Palestinian firms to regional and international markets, investor expectations, customer needs, innovation practices, and market-entry approaches. At the same time, it introduces regional and international stakeholders to Palestinian technical talent, competitive technology solutions, and the diversity of innovation emerging from Palestinian startups and innovative SMEs.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Discover is open to eligible Palestinian technology and technology-enabled startups and innovative SMEs that:

  • Are interested in exploring regional or international markets.
  • Have a technology or technology-enabled product, service, or business model.
  • Can benefit from exposure to investors, partners, clients, mentors, or ecosystem actors.
  • Are ready to represent their company professionally in regional or international events.
  • Are legally registered with the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy.
  • Have an active tax file with the Palestinian Ministry of Finance.
  • First-time participants are prioritized. Applicants who previously attended the same event must show a clear business/product pivot or provide strong, verifiable justification for re-participation.

Women-owned and women-managed businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.

COLLABORATE WITH DISCOVER

IPSD II NEXUS welcomes collaboration with Palestinian ecosystem enablers and support organizations on Discover activities.

Collaboration may include identifying relevant opportunities, supporting outreach to potential beneficiaries, contributing to beneficiary preparation, supporting logistics and coordination, or exploring cost-sharing opportunities.

Organizations interested in collaborating on Discover activities are invited to share their details and areas of interest to the NEXUS Team.
