INSTALLATION
A system going up
From container delivery to commissioning on the grid.
APPLICATIONS
One system, several revenue streams
Large C&I and utility installations combine several use cases over the same storage system. The energy management system prioritises them in operation.
Peak shaving
Cut load peaks and reduce the demand charge on the grid bill.
Grid connection relief
Keep using the existing connection instead of reinforcing it for peak load.
Ancillary services
Prequalified marketing of balancing power through the energy management system.
Energy trading / arbitrage
Exploit price spreads between trading intervals, steered by the EMS.
PV self-consumption
Store surplus PV and shift it into evening and morning load.
Charging infrastructure buffering
Buffer HPC charging points without increasing connection capacity.
Microgrid / island operation
Grid-forming operation for sites and critical processes.
SOFTWARE
Swiss Software & Swiss Data Storage
Your installation comes with the control it deserves: one interface for every component, remote access for service, a trading interface for your revenues, and cybersecurity designed along Swiss and EU requirements.
One interface for every hardware
You operate BMS, inverters, meters and auxiliary systems from different manufacturers through one uniform interface. Your team does not need to learn a different tool for every vendor, and no component ends up as an isolated system alongside the rest.
Efficient remote support
Monitoring, diagnostics and configuration run over secure remote access. We handle most interventions without travelling to site — you wait hours instead of days and pay for no call-outs.
Flexibility across revenue streams
You or your trading partner steer the installation through a secure upstream interface. Switching between revenue sources stays simple — from system services (SDL) to balancing group optimization (BGO) and later to intraday trading — so the asset follows the market instead of one fixed strategy. Front-of-the-meter, where the money is in Switzerland.
Designed along the security standards
The platform is designed along the principles of StromVG/StromVV with the ICT minimal standard and NIS-2 in the EU, and we develop it further against those requirements. Security is an architectural decision here, not a feature added later.
Developed and hosted in Switzerland. Why Libattion?
Libattion AG designs, builds and supports stationary storage systems in Switzerland — from sizing through commissioning to service across the entire operational life.
Swiss Software & Swiss Data Storage
BMS, EMS and FSS from one source. Our own software, developed and hosted in Switzerland — one connection point for the entire BESS.
Certified & compliant
All systems are certified to the applicable international standards, CE marked and validated on the Swiss grid.
Modular & scalable
Scaling from 100kWh to 100MWh by adding blocks, indoor or outdoor.
Long operational life
10,000 charge–discharge cycles with active balancing across all modules.
Optimized TCO
Automated production in Switzerland and an after-sales hub in the country keep the cost per installed kWh low.
End-to-End BESS Responsibility
From system design and validation to commissioning and long-term service — local engineering and service team in Switzerland.
