Terms of Use

Welcome to Osintly. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

By accessing or using the Osintly platform, enabling services, or registering for an account, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms").
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use our services.
Osintly acts as a search engine and aggregator of publicly available information (OSINT). We allow users to search across multiple third-party databases, leaks, and public records from a single interface.
Source: All data displayed is aggregated from third-party sources (e.g., Leaked Databases, Public APIs, Web Scraping). Osintly is not the creator, editor, or publisher of this data.
Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of the data at its source. Information found via Osintly reflects the state of the data on third-party platforms at the time of indexing or retrieval.
Availability (Best Effort): The availability of specific data sources (e.g., Snusbase, HudsonRock, Specific Leaks) is subject to the stability of third-party providers. We provide access on a "Best Effort" basis. We do not guarantee that any specific source will remain available indefinitely.
You agree to use Osintly only for legal, ethical, and legitimate purposes (e.g., security research, own-data verification, authorized investigations).
NoteUsers are solely responsible for their searches and the use of the results obtained. Osintly disclaims all liability for misuse of the platform.
You must not use the service for harassment, doxxing, stalking, or any illegal activity. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
API keys are personal and tied to your Osintly account or organization.
No Key Sharing: You must not share, sell, lend, transfer, or publicly expose your API keys.
Security Duty: You must keep your API keys private and rotate or revoke them immediately if you suspect exposure.
If you use Osintly's Team features:
The Team Owner and Administrators are strictly responsible for all activities, searches, and data usage performed by their team members within the scope of a Team Project.
Any breach of these Terms by a team member is deemed a breach by the Team account holder.
Card Payments: Subscriptions paid by card or another recurring payment method renew automatically for the billing interval and price displayed at checkout unless canceled in your account settings before the next renewal becomes due.
Recurring Payment Authorization: By starting a paid subscription or allowing a trial to convert, you authorize Osintly and Stripe to charge the selected payment method when payment becomes due and on each renewal date until the subscription is canceled.
Crypto/Gift: Subscriptions paid via Cryptocurrency or Gift Codes do not renew automatically.
Trial Eligibility: Unless an offer states otherwise, the two-day Pro trial is limited to one trial per person and account. Osintly determines eligibility based on account history and reasonable anti-abuse checks.
Trial Duration: The trial begins when Stripe confirms the selected payment method and lasts 48 consecutive hours. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into the paid subscription at the price and billing interval displayed at checkout.
€1 Authorization: Starting the trial requires a valid payment method supported and presented by Stripe, which may include a payment card, PayPal, Link, or another eligible wallet. Through Stripe, we request a temporary authorization of exactly €1.00 to verify the payment method and confirm that its provider approves the authorization. This is not a purchase: the amount is not captured by Osintly and the authorization is cancelled after successful verification.
Provider Processing Time: Although Osintly cancels the authorization, the bank or wallet provider may continue to display it as pending until its systems complete the reversal. The timing of that release is controlled by the provider and Osintly cannot accelerate it.
Automatic Conversion: By starting the trial, you authorize Stripe to store or tokenize the selected payment method for future recurring payments and authorize Osintly to charge the subscription price and billing interval displayed at checkout when the trial ends, unless you cancel before the trial expiration time.
Immediate Access & Subscription Acknowledgement: If you select the immediate-access checkbox, you request immediate access to Osintly Pro and acknowledge that the trial will automatically become a recurring monthly subscription at the price and on the date displayed at checkout unless you cancel before that date. The subscription then renews monthly until canceled.
Full Performance: Where permitted by law, an applicable right of withdrawal may end once the service has been fully performed, provided the legally required prior express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
Cancellation: You can cancel from your billing settings before the trial ends. Trial cancellation takes effect immediately and ends trial access and any unused trial credits. If the payment provider declines the €1 authorization, including because insufficient funds are available, the trial will not start.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer right, including any applicable statutory right of withdrawal.
Cancellation Timing: You may cancel from your billing settings at any time. A trial cancellation takes effect immediately and prevents the first subscription charge. A paid subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access remains available until then. No further renewal is created after the cancellation takes effect.
Cancellation Before Renewal: If your cancellation takes effect before the next renewal becomes due, that renewal will not be charged and there is no failed renewal payment for Stripe to retry.
Failed Payments & Automatic Retries: If a subscription payment that is already due fails, Stripe may automatically retry collection during a recovery period of up to 14 days. Retry dates are selected under the Stripe recovery schedule in effect and may vary based on the payment method and the response from its issuer. Each attempt is for the same unpaid invoice, not a separate purchase or a new subscription. Your subscription access remains available throughout this recovery period. If the invoice is still unpaid when the recovery period ends, access may then be suspended or terminated.
Effect of Cancellation on Retries: Automatic retries stop once the subscription is canceled and Stripe disables automatic collection. Scheduling a paid subscription to cancel at the end of its current billing period does not cancel it immediately. A payment or invoice that became due before the cancellation took effect may still be retried during the recovery period. Canceling after an invoice becomes due does not retroactively erase that invoice, except where required by law.
Cancellation Confirmation: A cancellation is recorded when Osintly displays a successful confirmation. You are responsible for checking that confirmation and contacting contact@osint.ly promptly if the cancellation could not be completed.
You must not obtain or attempt to obtain additional trials by concealing your identity or prior use of the service. Prohibited methods include creating or controlling multiple accounts, using aliases or disposable contact details, rotating payment credentials for the purpose of repeated trials, manipulating device or network identifiers, automating registrations, coordinating accounts with another person, or exploiting a bug, race condition, or other technical weakness.
You must not interfere with trial eligibility checks or provide false, incomplete, or misleading information to appear eligible. An unsuccessful attempt is treated the same as a completed bypass for enforcement purposes.
Trial abuse uses capacity reserved for eligible users, distorts legitimate usage patterns, and makes the service harder to operate and plan reliably. These restrictions apply whether the activity is performed manually, through automation, or through a third party.
When we have reasonable grounds to identify trial abuse, we may refuse or cancel the trial, revoke trial credits and access, suspend related accounts, and exclude the user from future promotional offers. We may consider links between accounts, payment methods, devices, network activity, and signup patterns. If you believe a restriction was applied by mistake, contact contact@osint.ly.
No Expiry (Purchased): Credits purchased directly by the user are valid indefinitely and do not expire.
Promotional/Free Credits: Credits obtained for free or via promotions may be subject to expiration dates as specified in the promotion terms.
NoteSubscription charges and credit purchases are non-refundable once processed, including for unused time, inactivity, unused credits, partial billing periods, or failure to cancel before a renewal became due, except where a refund is required by law. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals after the cancellation takes effect but does not retroactively reverse a completed charge. User actions and searches can create immediate costs from external service and data providers.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer right that applies under the laws of your country of residence.
For billing administration, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute resolution, Osintly may retain records of the subscription terms displayed at checkout, the price and renewal date shown, your acknowledgement, payment and cancellation events, billing communications, and relevant service usage. These records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you choose to pay via cryptocurrency, you acknowledge the risks associated with such transactions. Osintly is not responsible for errors in transaction details (e.g., wrong address, wrong network) or value fluctuation. Any payment error resulting in lost funds is the sole responsibility of the user.
Osintly utilizes Artificial Intelligence (including Google Gemini) to provide features such as summaries and chat assistance.
AI models may generate incorrect or misleading information ("hallucinations"). Summaries and insights provided by our AI features are for informational purposes only.
NoteYou must verify all AI-generated information against the original data sources. Osintly is not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated content.
By using AI features, you acknowledge that input data may be processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., Google) as described in our Privacy Policy.
Osintly provides Projects to allow users to organize investigations, upload files, and take notes.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all files you upload to Osintly. You must ensure you have the legal right to possess and host such content.
Prohibited Content: Host of the following content is strictly prohibited:
  • Malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
  • Illegal content or data obtained through unauthorized means.
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material.
  • Content involving or exploiting minors (CSAM).
  • Any content deemed incoherent or unrelated to security investigation purposes.
Right to Moderate: Osintly reserves the right to remove, delete, or suspend access to any file or content judged to be in violation of these Terms at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Scanning & Auditing: We may use automated tools or manual reviews (in case of reports or suspected abuse) to scan hosted elements for security and compliance. This includes the right to audit Project Notes (Notepad) if we suspect the storage of unauthorized data, such as stolen credentials or sensitive logs unrelated to investigation.
The Project Notepad is intended for investigation notes only. Using the Notepad as a massive log storage or general-purpose cloud text storage for unrelated data is considered a misuse of the service and may lead to data removal or account suspension.
Retention: All project-related content (Files, Notes, Searches) is deleted immediately upon the deletion of the Project or the User Account.
Quota: Storage limits are governed by your subscription plan. We reserve the right to restrict further uploads if storage quotas are exceeded.
Future updates may allow community-created modules. Osintly reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or modify the code of any community module submitted to the platform to ensure security and compliance.
We employ invisible, fingerprint-based rate limiting systems across all Osintly services (especially on sensitive features like the Catalog). Excessive or abusive usage patterns may trigger temporary blocks or CAPTCHA verification challenges.
Attempting to bypass these protections or usage limits is prohibited.
API capacity and response speed depend on real-time infrastructure load, operational conditions, and overall platform demand.
We do not guarantee constant throughput, fixed concurrency, or uninterrupted availability of every API capability at all times.
Malicious bots and automated abuse scripts are strictly prohibited. However, we permit access to legitimate AI crawlers and search engine bots (e.g., for indexing or training) provided they operate within reasonable limits.
Osintly monitors account and API activity for signs of abuse (e.g., rapid IP switching, attempts to evade limits, suspicious automation patterns).
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate API access and subscriptions, and to ban the related Osintly account, for any reason, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
NoteIf API access or an account is terminated for abuse or policy violations, no refund is owed for API subscriptions, credits, or remaining periods, except where required by law.
Obligation to Report: You must immediately report any security vulnerability, bug, or exploit discovered on the platform to our team.
Prohibition on Exploitation: Exploiting a vulnerability (whether discovered by you or a third party) to access unauthorized data or disrupt services is strictly prohibited. Violators face immediate account termination and potential legal action.

When you accept cookies in our consent banner, we may load analytics and advertising tools, including the X (Twitter) conversion tracking pixel, to measure campaign effectiveness.
If you decline cookies, these optional tracking tools are not activated.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services, regardless of the form of the action, is limited to the amount paid by you to use the Services.
These Terms constitute a contract governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their country of residence.
Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, except where mandatory consumer law permits a consumer to bring or defend a claim in another competent court.
