Perform S&C

At Perform Strength & Conditioning, we train for one reason, and one reason only—to perform when it matters most. Through proven strategies built from years of experience, our remote strength & conditioning programs, nutrition plans, and individualized rehab packages help current and former athletes, tactical first responders, high performing professionals and busy parents move better, stronger, fasterwithout the burnout and breakdown.

Outperform is our flagship performance training experience – built for those who want to train with purpose, push their limits, and feel strong, athletic and capable again.

This program blends strength, power, conditioning and movement quality into one cohesive system. It’s designed to help you not just look strong, but perform strong in the real world – on the field, on the fire ground, or in everyday life.

Expect explosive work, hybrid strength days, athletic prep, and conditioning sessions that challenge both your engine and your power output. These aren’t random workouts – it’s structured, progressive athletic programming.

If you thrive on training hard, moving with intent, and building a resilient, athletic body – this is your program.

The Energy Advantage System is a complete, sustainable approach to rebuilding strength, health, and your day-to-day energy – designed specifically for busy men and women who want to feel like themselves again.

This isn’t a “hardcore” athlete program.
This isn’t a fad challenge or extreme transformation blueprint.
And it’s definitely not another cookie-cutter plan pretending to understand your life.

The Energy Advantage is a real-world system built by a full-time firefighter, busy father, and strength coach with over 15 years experience training elite athletes and high-performers. It’s for men and women juggling careers, families, stress and responsibilities, who still want to train intelligently and feel like themselves again.

At its’ core, the Energy Advantage helps you do one thing:

Build a body that gives you more energy than it takes.

You can run The Energy Advantage System as your long-term training system – or use it for 8-12 weeks to restore capacity, rebuild energy, and then carry its principles with you back into harder training when life allows.

Either way, the goal is the same:
Train in a way that supports your life, not competes with it.

Ian Schnarr is a strength and conditioning coach, firefighter, and performance educator with over 15 years of experience working across elite sport and high-demand professions.

His work is built on a performance truth learned in high-demand environments: training only works when load, recovery, and stress are managed as intentionally as intensity.

Ian has spent his career applying foundational strength & conditioning principles to a wide range of populations – from NHL athletes, professional basketball and volleyball players, Olympians and OHL standouts, to high-level competitors, firefighters and working adults balancing careers, families, and real-world stress.

Rather than chasing trends or extreme training methods, Ian’s approach emphasizes:

  • intelligent program design
  • movement quality and joint resilience
  • sustainable strength and conditioning
  • long-term performance over short-term burnout

His coaching style is practical, grounded and quietly confident – focused on helping people train hard when it makes sense, recover properly, and show up capable where it matters most.

Whether he’s coaching athletes, working on the fireground, or speaking to performance professionals, Ian’s mission is the same:

Build strong, resilient humans who can perform – not just for today, but for years to come.
