Sharpen is dedicated to helping people become more self sufficient by learning to make things themselves. We offer specialized workshops in dozens of different hands on subjects such as renovation, sewing, crafts, zero waste, bicycle, woodwork…
Whether you’re tackling your first DIY project or expanding your existing skills, we’re here to guide and support you every step of the way. We believe that with a little help everyone can develop practical skills, gain confidence, and become sharper.
We Aim to Teach
Sharpen offers expert-led classes every day, designed to help you build practical, hands-on skills. Whether you’re interested in woodworking, cooking, sewing, zero-waste living, home renovation, or more, there’s a class for every interest.
Our workshops are designed to build confidence and give you the skills to tackle everyday projects and repairs you may not have known how to handle before.
By the end of your class, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a confident DIYer—and in most cases, you’ll head home with a handmade project you created yourself.

Our mission
he Sharpen project was born from the fusion of two simple ideas:
- Fight against planned obsolescence and our culture of buying, using, and throwing things away.
- Give people the confidence and pride to do things themselves—to build, repair, and create with their own hands.
Everything we do is guided by these beliefs.
