What SunRanker is

SunRanker is a monitoring service that reads your solar production and tells you plainly how it's doing, with an email when something looks wrong. It's an informational tool built by a solar owner, not a solar company, utility, or professional advisor.

It's information, not advice

Numbers, health checks, and alerts are estimates meant to help you get a feel for how your system is doing. They are not a professional diagnosis, a guarantee of performance, or financial, legal, or engineering advice. Before making a decision about your system, warranty, or bill, talk to your installer, the manufacturer, or a qualified professional.

Connecting a system

• Only connect a system you own or are authorized to manage.
• Connect with read-only access, either a SolarEdge API key or an Enphase sign in you approve. You can revoke it at the brand at any time.
• Provide accurate information about your system.
• You're responsible for activity on any system you connect.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Try to access, claim, or tamper with a system that isn't yours.
• Scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to break the service.
• Submit false data or impersonate another owner.
• Use SunRanker for anything unlawful.

Data accuracy and third parties

Production data comes from your monitoring brand, SolarEdge or Enphase, third-party services we don't control. We work to show it faithfully, but we can't guarantee it's always accurate, complete, or available, and an alert (or the absence of one) is never a guarantee that something is or isn't wrong.

Your system

Your dashboard is private to you. You can rename or remove your system anytime, and removing it deletes the row and the stored key with it. We may remove a system that violates these terms or that we believe is fraudulent.

What it costs

SunRanker is free to use today. We may add paid plans or paid features later. If we do, we will post it here and give notice before any charge could apply to your account. We will not charge you without asking you first.

No warranty, and limited liability

SunRanker is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and may change or go offline at any time. To the fullest extent allowed by law, SunRanker and its creator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its numbers.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time, and we'll update the date above when we do. Continuing to use SunRanker means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Questions? Email [email protected].
