AJAX, ON — The Canadian Centre for Cyber Defence (C3D) announces that its inaugural Summer Camp Intensive has reached full capacity, with all seats confirmed ahead of the program’s first session on August 17, 2026.
The Summer Camp Intensive is a three-day, hands-on cybersecurity program designed for students in Grades 6 through 10. Running across August 17, 19 and 21 at the C3D Facility in Ajax, Ontario, the program immerses students in real-world cybersecurity skills — from phishing detection and OSINT investigation to password mechanics, network encryption, web application security, and physical signal shielding. Each participant receives a C3D Defender Kit upon completion.
The response to the program reflects a growing recognition among Canadian families that cybersecurity is no longer a career consideration — it is a foundational life skill. C3D designed the Summer Camp Intensive to meet that moment directly, delivering professional-grade curriculum to the next generation of Canadian cyber defenders in an immersive, practical environment.
For those who did not secure a seat, C3D will open a waitlist effective tomorrow. Individuals on the waitlist will be given priority access when the next iteration of the program is announced.

C3D to Host Free Digital Detectives Workshop for Students in Grades 7–12

AJAX, ON — The Canadian Centre for Cyber Defence (C3D) today announced the launch of Digital Detectives, a free, full-day cybersecurity workshop designed for students in Grades 7 through 12. The event will take place on July 13, 2026 at the C3D facility in Ajax, Ontario.
Digital Detectives is a hands-on, immersive experience built to introduce young Canadians to the fundamentals of digital forensics, threat intelligence and cyber investigation. Students will work with real forensic hardware, analyze simulated attack scenarios and develop the critical thinking skills that define Canada’s next generation of cyber professionals.
The workshop is open to all students in Grades 7–12 from any school board across Canada. C3D extends a special acknowledgment to students from the Durham District School Board (DDSB) and the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB), whose communities are home to this initiative.

The Canadian Centre for Cyber Defence Launched to Strengthen Canada's Digital Security Posture
AJAX, ON, April 24, 2026 — Today, 369 Global officially launched the Canadian Centre for Cyber Defence (C3D), a not-for-profit cybersecurity innovation hub located in Ajax, Ontario.
C3D is designed to protect Canada's critical infrastructure, develop the next generation of cyber defenders, and project Canadian cybersecurity expertise onto the world stage — at a moment when the threats facing Canadian institutions have never been more severe or sophisticated.
Canada is an active target. State-sponsored actors, ransomware syndicates, and AI-enabled threat campaigns have penetrated government networks, disrupted hospitals, and compromised municipal services across the country, costing taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. Canada also faces a deficit of tens of thousands of trained cybersecurity professionals — a gap that leaves organizations perpetually under-defended and forced to rely on reactive measures rather than the proactive, intelligence-led posture that modern threats demand.
C3D's mandate is built on four interconnected capabilities: advanced digital forensics, actionable threat intelligence reporting, immersive corporate training and tabletop exercises, and broad-based public awareness programming for the general public. The Centre's services are designed to reinforce one another — intelligence informs training design, training outcomes sharpen forensic readiness, and forensic findings feed back into stronger intelligence — creating a compounding cycle of institutional resilience.
