Convective heat transfer for electronics

New

A finite-volume conjugate heat transfer solver for the thermal side of power electronics: heat sinks, enclosures, potted assemblies and forced-air cooling. Solid and fluid regions are solved together, so you get component temperatures — not just an air flow field.

Import CAD or DXF files — 2D profiles extend to 3D — or start from a parametrised template for common core and winding types.

Assign materials from the library, apply excitation waveforms from your circuit simulator, set boundaries and heat sources.

Automatic meshing with local refinement, then solve in parallel across the cores of your workstation or cluster.
