  Hi, we have an old version of wordpress and would like to update it to the current version without losing anything on our website. Is it better to start fresh or is there a way to keep everything we have as it is and feed it into the latest version of wordpress?

  Hi @74ghf27ccr, it’s a good decision to update your WordPress site, for security and performance issues.

  You should backup your existing site through your host or a backup plugin such as All In One or similar before the update. Then just update your site through the updater on the admin panel.
