Welcome back to campus, Texans! A new semester at Tarleton State University means new classes, new friends, new opportunities, and plenty of time spent in the library.
Whether you’re a returning student or you’re just getting to know campus, the library is here to help you succeed. We can help you find reliable sources for your assignments, navigate research databases, get help with citations, find a quiet place to study, or simply answer those questions that come up when you’re not sure where to start.
But this semester, we have a mystery for you to solve…

There’s Something Strange Happening in the Library
Calling all sleuths!
The library has something spooky going on, and we need your help to figure it out. Someone is lurking in our stacks and stealing items from our display case!
Who could be behind these mysterious disappearances? What are they taking? And why?
If you’re ready to put your detective skills to the test, stop by the Circulation Desk for more information. Follow the clues, explore the library, and see if you can help us solve the mystery.
The mystery runs August 19–30.
It’s a fun way to explore the library, become familiar with the services and spaces available to you, and maybe discover something unexpected along the way.
Your Library Is More Than a Place to Study
As you settle into the fall semester, remember that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. The library is one of your campus resources, and librarians are here to help you succeed.
