America's Workforce Academy

Associated Builders and Contractors and Meta have partnered to provide a unique opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in the construction industry. This intensive, four-week training program is designed to equip participants with the foundational skills, industry-recognized credentials and workplace readiness needed to pursue rewarding careers in construction.

For decades, workforce pipelines have asked people to train first and hope for a job later. America's Workforce Academy inverts that model: Participants receive a job offer before training begins. This is the first guaranteed-employment training pipeline connecting Americans to artificial intelligence infrastructure jobs.

America's Workforce Academy is Meta’s $115 million investment to train thousands of workers for AI infrastructure jobs. This training program requires no prior experience and pays participants while they train. Jobs in AI infrastructure, power generation, grid modernization and data center construction are expected to be among the most stable and in-demand careers over the next decade—driven by sustained investment and a deepening labor shortage.

How It Works

Participants are accepted into the program and a Meta contractor partner will simultaneously issue a guaranteed job offer conditioned on successful completion of the program.
Four weeks of curriculum delivered by our partners at training centers across the country—a boot camp designed to make candidates jobsite ready.
Every graduate leaves with an industry-standard certification and a guaranteed job on a Meta partner construction site.
Meta funds all costs, with its operating partner administering the program to provide candidates with tuition, airfare, lodging and a daily stipend during training. There is no cost to the participant.

Training Specialties

The training will provide general orientation, safety and basic construction knowledge to ensure candidates can operate safely at an active construction site and will include introduction to the most prevalent systems found in a data center such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fiber connectivity systems.

Credential and Career Portability

Graduates earn the industry-recognized National Center for Construction Education and Research credential and an America's Workforce Certificate, both designed to travel with the worker across employers and industry sectors.
The skills gained through this program are portable across construction, energy, and infrastructure sectors projected to grow for decades and include basic safety and OSHA certifications, construction math and drawing, material handling and rigging skills.
Graduates are not obligated to remain with Meta's contractor partners—the credential and skills belong to the worker.
