Can I use Bchex if my ATS is not listed?
Yes. If your ATS or HRIS is not listed, contact the Bchex team to discuss integration options. Bchex is continually expanding its integration partnerships and may be able to build a connector for your platform.
What data flows between my ATS and Bchex?
When you initiate a background check from your ATS, candidate information — name, email, date of birth, and the selected screening package — is transmitted to Bchex over a secure encrypted connection. Once the screening is complete, Bchex returns the result status (clear, consider, or in-progress) and a link to the full report directly within your ATS.
Is the integration secure and compliant?
All Bchex integrations transmit data over TLS-encrypted connections. Bchex is SOC 2 Type II certified and follows FCRA, EEOC, and state-specific compliance requirements. Candidate data is handled in accordance with Bchex’s privacy policy and is never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to complete the screening.
Can I customize which screening packages appear in my ATS?
