Yo, I'm Rhode. If somehow you're on this page and aren't already aware: Riverine is about a young trans woman gaining water super powers after a freak accident. After that, she'll have to contend with hiding both her true self from her transphobic parents, as well as her superhero identity from society, whilst at the same time dealing with the government agency gunning for her capture. And if they can't do that, her life.If that sounds cool to you, I'd love if you checked it out. It's the proudest I've been about anything I've done in my life, and is helping me improve my art skills bit by bit as time goes on. Brooke's story goes places I'm ecstatic about, and I can't wait to get to those places in the coming years.Riverine is never going to be behind a paywall. I very much want the entire thing to be something that can be easily accessed. That being said, I put in a whole lot of time and effort into making it, and additional financial support would be really helpful in making that easier in my life. Ideally I'd somehow garner enough fans to allow me to quit working retail and focus solely on the comic (and other ideas), but I'm realistic.
