@PoPville we saw your story today about neighbors seeing some of the Tubman murals coming down. Pls know we’re working on it in coordination w DCPS and LAYC!

Neighbors, in coordination with @dcpublicschools, we want to share that several murals at Tubman Elementary will be removed during wall repairs on June 1 as part of the modernization project. Future mural projects are being planned! 🎨 Full statement below. ⬇️
