- The HyperBEAM migration has now reached a full deployment in stage. The three core contracts, a new x402 write-gate, all four controllers and the API service are deployed from the secured pre-migration state. But this has become much more than restoring the old AO setup. A
- Interest in onion routing is no longer niche. Google Trends shows worldwide search interest for “onion routing” is up 100% compared with the preceding 5 years. As identity checks, VPN restrictions, and platform surveillance expand, more people are looking for privacy
- The second relay rewards airdrop is complete. This round covers rewards from July 20 through August 10, using the last reliable reward snapshot together with current relay liveness data. Airdrops are sent directly to eligible wallets. There is no claim process or claim page.
- Anyone Desktop VPN build cleanup. The macOS arm64 app has been reduced from around 419 MB to 331 MB, with the DMG down from 144 MB to 118 MB. The update removes files that were only needed for development, packaging, or other platforms, while keeping the runtime files needed
