    Officers are currently on scene at Wickford railway station in Essex following reports that the rear carriages of a train have derailed in an upright position at 2.12pm today. We’re responding alongside paramedics and the fire service. There are currently no reported injuries.

    Our Assistant Chief Constable has praised local Lewes residents following yesterday's derailment. He said their response “demonstrated the very best of our communities”.   Two people remain in hospital and 18 have since been discharged.   Latest update 👉 btp.police.uk/news/btp/news/…

    Officers are currently on scene close to Lewes railway station following reports of a derailed train at 3.54pm today (13 August). We’re responding alongside paramedics and the fire service and will provide more information as soon as we can.

    Stephen Greaves, aged 74, attempted to meet a teenage girl for sex. He was intercepted at Sheffield station carrying a pack of Viagra. We later found videos of horrific child sex abuse on his phone. He’s now in prison for nearly three years. ✅ More 👉 btp.police.uk/news/btp/news/…
