Counterpoint: What if at this stage in his career as an undrafted free agent a player decides that getting 1 more yr of college ?is not "the entire goal as an football athlete is to compete at the highest level"? Why not take a big NIL payout at LSU before re-entering the draft?
Here’s my take on this that I’m not sure these players are considering regardless of their situation:
If the entire goal as an football athlete is to compete at the highest level (which is the NFL) and you finally get there but you realize that it’s not easy to make a pro
