Can confirm this … this topic popped up after the Sorsby incident prompted some leaders to ask if there should be participation rules. Turned out to be a timely question. Meeting Tuesday expected to be brief, with more intel on format but no decision on that front.

CFP executives are continuing discussion on implementing participation rules that would disqualify programs rostering certain athletes, including former professional football players, sources tell @YahooSports. A meeting next week is expected to solidify a decision.
