This paper is incredibly important. The authors asked a simple question: how reproducible is CTCAE v5.0 acute toxicity scoring during head and neck radiotherapy? It turns out that it’s not very reproducible. During a prospective clinical trial (specifics of the trial not

Documenting physician reported toxicities can vary between clinicians. This also raises the importance of documenting patient reported outcomes . A very pragmatic study done by TMH Head Neck Oncologist . Congratulations ! @RadOncTMC @shwetabhsinha23 @AnujkumarTvm

I now routinely perform PET-CT simulation for high-risk postop H&N cases and not uncommonly find residual (or progressive) FDG-avid disease. It makes me question whether the postop RT literature on intensification needs to be re-examined. How much is the benefit of chemotherapy,

What do you think of moderate hypo fx? 55/20 is and accepted standard in the UK. At my center (South America) we are resource constrained, so anything doable with 3DCRT is a huge win.

Very cool case! 90 yo nursing home-bound gentleman with early-stage larynx cancer. Treated with 5 fractions and tolerated with minimal acute side effects (mild fatigue and dysphonia) and no longer-term sequelae thus far (7 months later). Left, today; right, pre-treatment.
