I can confirm that Greg Nunnery, Aloali’i Maui and Jameer Lewis were granted temporary restraining orders today in Forrest County Chancery Court. The TRO means that all three can play for Southern Miss in 2026.

My understanding is that, for now, right at this exact moment, Southern Miss players Greg Nunnery, Aloali'i Maui and Jameer Lewis are ineligible. But my guess is that this is not over.

The Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees approved a name-change for Southern Miss’ football stadium this morning. Effective Friday, August 21, Southern Miss’ stadium will be renamed to Renasant Stadium.
