It was not a good or even decent report, but in my opinion most takes on it were too pessimistic.

while I agree that it’s more important to think about “gross labor market disruption” than net employment growth impacts, I also think gross disruption has been very small outside of a few pockets
Two ways to read this chart.
1. The market has failed to produce AI products that businesses want or care to use.
2. We're so early in a new and nascent product category with room to grow.
I think both are somewhat true. I also think the discourse around measuring AI's impacts
Btw my answer here is if the underlying work is substantive then it would change my opinion quite a bit for the better (even if I dislike the canned AI writing style)
As would finding out that it was generated by a 1 sentence prompt
Let’s say you read a piece that is obviously written by AI.
And let’s say the author shows you that they in fact did substantial work drafting/shaping the piece prior to feeding it to an LLM.
Would this change your assessment of the piece?
Whenever I think of ABCP, I remember some of the most fun/scary moments of my private sector career, so I'm really excited we might be doing this again
