I wish more founders thought about SLED — state & local governments are like the SMBs of the public sector. They can be great laboratories for startups.
SLED folks can buy smaller, exist in dense networks, and are incredibly mimetic (in a good way!). That creates awesome revenue
3) the only thing less popular than consumer --selling to government (4 companies).
selling to gov't is so unpopular that 50% of the govtech companies don't do it.
instead they sell to other startups to help them sell to government.
I remember watching Harry Potter as a kid and dreaming about a Hogwarts full of pictures that could smile and wave. This is a picture you can *play*...
